Laundry G – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of laundry services by Laundry G. By engaging our services, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Non-Refundable Policy💰

All payments made to Laundry G are strictly non-refundable, regardless of cancellation or dissatisfaction.

 

2. Prohibited Items🚫

2.1 Laundry G will not accept gold, diamond, cash, jewelry, electronic devices, or other valuable or irreplaceable items for laundering.
2.2 Pet items such as dog or cat blankets, beds, or related fabrics are not accepted for hygiene and operational reasons.
2.3 Laundry G accepts no liability for loss or damage of prohibited items if submitted in error.

 

3. Wet Laundry Charge💦

Laundry submitted in a wet condition will be subject to a surcharge of double the standard rate due to additional handling and drying requirements.

 

4. Payment Terms🧾

4.1 Payment must be made in full before collection of laundry.
4.2 No laundry will be released until proof of payment has been received.
4.3 Laundry G accepts cash, EFT, and other approved payment methods.

5. Customer Responsibility – Pockets and Personal Belongings🧥

5.1 Customers are required to empty all pockets, bags, and jackets before sending laundry.
5.2 Laundry G will not be held responsible for loss or damage of items left in pockets (e.g., pens, keys, money, documents, or electronic devices).
5.3 Any damage caused to garments or machines by items left in pockets will be the responsibility of the customer.

6. Storage and Collection of Laundry⏳

6.1 Completed laundry will be stored for a maximum of seven (7) days.
6.2 After this period, Laundry G reserves the right to donate, dispose of, or repurpose uncollected items without liability.

 

7. Pick-Up and Delivery⚡

7.1 Laundry G provides pick-up and delivery services at agreed times and locations.
7.2 Customers must ensure availability at the agreed time. If unavailable, a re-delivery fee may apply.
7.3 Laundry G is not responsible for laundry left unattended at drop-off locations unless expressly agreed in writing.

8. Same-Day Washing Service🕒

8.1 Same-day washing is available at an additional fee of R30, inclusive of pick-up and drop-off.
8.2 Availability depends on operational capacity and is not always guaranteed.

 

9. Turnaround Time⚠️

9.1 Standard turnaround time is 24 hours.
9.2 Delays may occur due to high volumes, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

10. Liability Disclaimer📞

10.1 Laundry G will not be held responsible for:

• Shrinkage, discoloration, or fading due to manufacturer defects or normal wear and tear.

• Damage to weak fabrics, seams, or accessories (e.g., zippers, buttons).

• Color bleeding of garments.

• Items left in pockets that cause damage to laundry.

• The condition of garments that cannot withstand normal washing processes.
  10.2 Maximum liability for lost or damaged items shall not exceed 5 times the service charge of the item, payable as a credit note or service voucher.

 

11. Lost Items📦

11.1 Customers must report missing items within 24 hours of collection/delivery.
11.2 Claims made after this period will not be considered.

 

12. Force Majeure🌪️

Laundry G will not be liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, theft, strikes, or transport disruptions.

 

13. Amendments📝

Laundry G reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
